Innovation Award and Flagship Excellence at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026

Set against the spectacular backdrop of the French Riviera, Galeon participated in the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8–13 September 2026, presenting five motor yachts.

The Galeon display featured the European premiere of the new flagship Galeon 800 FLY, alongside the Galeon 400 FLY, 480 FLY, 560 FLY and 620 FLY.

As one of the most prestigious events on the international yachting calendar, the Cannes Yachting Festival provided clients, partners and members of the media with the opportunity to experience some of Galeon’s bestselling models firsthand. The event also included exclusive press sea trials aboard the Galeon 800 FLY.

Galeon 570 SKY Wins Best Innovation Award

On Saturday, 12 September, the new Galeon 800 FLY also took part in the legendary Yachts Parade, a spectacular evening procession of selected yachts through the Bay of Cannes, staged in front of the Carlton Cannes Beach Club.

The evening culminated in the prestigious World Yacht Trophies gala dinner. During the ceremony, the Galeon 570 SKY was awarded Best Innovation in the 45–64 ft category, recognising the model’s distinctive combination of intelligent engineering, functionality and innovative design.

Clever Solutions and a Sporty Character

Equipped with Galeon’s signature Beach Mode Package, the yacht features fold-down balconies on both sides, increasing the usable beam to an impressive 6.874 metres and creating an expansive leisure area directly above the water.

The aft section can be configured in three different ways, giving owners greater freedom to tailor the yacht to their individual cruising style. Available solutions include a dedicated Skipper Aft Cabin, as well as the optional Carousel Mode Package.

A large opening sunroof above the main helm enhances the sporty, open-air character of the main deck, while the defining feature of the 570 SKY is its innovative upper helm station.

An electrically folding centre console, together with dedicated driver and passenger seats, delivers the experience and visibility of a flybridge while preserving the yacht’s sleek, coupé-inspired profile. Integrated wind tunnels further improve airflow and help reduce lateral air movement.
